Privacy Notice

Effective August 2026

Controller

We are responsible for your personal data, and this is how you reach us.

Njamba AI AG with its seat in Baar, Switzerland. The full address is in the imprint.

Write to privacy [at] readme.app if you have a question or want to exercise one of your rights.

The German version of this notice governs.

When you visit our website

Technical data only. You do not have to tell us who you are.

You can visit our website without providing personal data.

Our server logs technical data. This includes the IP address, the operating system, the browser, the date and time of the visit, and the page you come from. We need them to provide the website and to keep our systems stable and secure.

We measure the use of our website with Google Analytics. We run advertising through Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. These providers recognise your browser and show you our ads. With this we measure the success of our campaigns.

Analytics and advertising run only on the public pages, never in the app.

You find more details in the privacy notices of the individual platforms:

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads: Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin
  • LinkedIn: LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Dublin
  • Facebook and Instagram: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Dublin
  • TikTok: TikTok Technology Limited, Dublin

When you use our service

We process only what we need to provide the service.

To provide the service, we process your contact data such as name, address, email, and phone, as well as contract-related data.

Payment runs through an external payment provider. From it we learn whether a payment was made and receive details of the transaction, but never your full credit card data.

You find more details in the payment provider's privacy notice:

  • Payment: Payrexx AG, Burgstrasse 20, 3600 Thun, Switzerland

When you upload or make a recording

From your recording we create a transcript, a summary, and further analyses for you. We use this content only to provide and improve the service. We do not sell your data and do not advertise with it.

We treat all data as confidential. We generally store and transmit it only encrypted. You decide who in your team has access and with whom you share it.

So that we recognise the same voice in a later recording, we compute a voice profile from it. We use it solely to recognise the participants in your recordings.

A recording can also contain voices of people who have no account with us. You are responsible for informing them and obtaining their consent.

Everything you upload and everything we generate from it, we process on your behalf and according to your instructions.

Cookies

Not the baked kind. Small files your browser keeps for us.

A cookie recognises your device or your browser. These data count as personal data.

Some cookies are technically required. One keeps your session open so you stay signed in. Other cookies count the visits to our pages, so we see which pages land and where we need to improve. Our advertising platforms set their own cookies and tracking pixels, with which we measure the success of our campaigns.

You can reject or delete cookies in your browser at any time, entirely or in part.

Who we work with

Your data is stored in Switzerland.

We store your recordings, transcripts, summaries, and analyses in Switzerland.

For individual tasks we use external service providers.

  • Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Luxembourg
  • Google Cloud EMEA Limited, Dublin

Mostly we work with service providers from Switzerland and the EEA. They can, however, be located in any country in the world, for example as subprocessors of our service providers.

We transmit to each service provider only the data that is strictly necessary. On top of that we bind it contractually to adequate data protection, with the approved standard data protection clauses or with other suitable safeguards.

Your rights

Your data belongs to you, and an email is enough.

  • Access: we tell you which data we process about you.
  • Correction: we correct wrong data.
  • Deletion: we delete your data.
  • Handover: we hand you your data in a common format.
  • Objection: we stop a processing operation if you demand it.

Just write us an email at privacy [at] readme.app. You can also contact the FDPIC directly.
